The law firm of Carr, Blackwell & Associates in Hendersonville, North Carolina, wants to convey our concern and understanding to our friends and clients that have been affected in any way by the Corona pandemic. As many of you may know by now, the court system has granted an automatic 30-day continuance for cases that are scheduled in the next 30 days. Even if you are not a current client, if you do not have an attorney, we will be glad to consult with you about what this may mean for your case.
We also want to recognize this as an opportunity for folks in the communities we serve (Hendersonville, Brevard, Columbus, Tryon and Asheville) to make sure your affairs are in order. It is critical in light of the Corona outbreak that all persons have the necessary estate and life planning tools (powers of attorney) in place in the event that you or your loved ones are affected by Corona. Our firm will waive any consultation fee for the next 30 days for anyone who wants to make an appointment with us to discuss your estate planning needs and to make sure that your affairs are in order.
If you are concerned about face to face contact during these times, we would be happy to arrange the appointment to occur by Skype, Facetime or some other video conferencing method.
Best wishes to all in this new time, and know that we can and will all work to get through it together.
